Bike Rental
Renting versus bringing your own
Flying with a bike is manageable but adds cost, hassle and a small risk of damage. Renting makes sense for a single trip or when you want to try a gravel or aero setup you don't own. Bringing your own makes sense for multi-stop trips or if fit is critical to you.
What to check before you book
Confirm frame size availability (not just S/M/L — ask for exact stack and reach if you're particular), pedal compatibility, and whether a bike fit is included. Ask about included spares — a spare tube and multitool should be standard, a full toolkit usually isn't.
Typical costs
As a rough guide, expect around €30–50 per day for a good aluminium or entry carbon road bike, and €60–100+ per day for a high-end race or e-bike. Multi-day rentals are usually discounted. Always confirm what's covered if the bike is damaged or stolen.
